TV thriller poster analysis 1
This poster of the show Dexter has the title in red to show
blood and indicate danger to the audience, we can also see the main character ‘Dexter’
with blood on his face but also a smile on his face which shows a psychotic
impression of the character which he is. We can also see that the letter T in
the title contains a little point at the top of it which creates the image of a
knife and therefore links to murder and danger. The poster is kept minimalistic
but effective as we can get a rough feel for the main character and the TV show
itself, we know its somewhat about a murderer/psychopath. The color blue in
the background could represent coldness and this could indicate parts of the
show.
